We are Excited to Announce to that Tuition for the 2025/2026 School Year will be $2,400!

  • We are thrilled to share that Chesterton Academy of Mater Dei has received a generous donation from an anonymous benefactor, making it possible to subsidize tuition to just $2,400 for all students enrolling for the 2025–2026 school year.

    This incredible gift reflects our shared belief that a great Catholic and classical education should be accessible to all, and we are deeply grateful for the support.

  • Family tuition cap – Additional family members are grandfathered in and will never pay more than $10,000 total for tuition per student during your family’s time at Chesterton!

    Chesterton Academy of Mater Dei is committed to offering an outstanding high school education at an affordable cost to families. Because tuition does not cover the full cost of an education at Chesterton, families are expected to aid in fundraising efforts throughout the school year.

  • Apply for Financial Aid Here

    Tuition assistance is available to families who apply and qualify. We utilize TADS to help us allocate fairly our limited aid dollars. An admissions application must be completed before being considered for aid.

Placement Exam

All students are required to take a placement exam as part of the enrollment process. The placement exam is used as a diagnostic tool to ensure students are placed in the appropriate section of math or Latin, and to help identify areas of academic strengths and opportunities for growth.

  • Verbal reasoning skills

  • Grammar and writing skills

  • Quantitative reasoning skills

  • An optional Latin exam is also offered
